Chris Dean

As CEO and Co-Founder of Treasury Prime, Chris is responsible for all aspects of Treasury Prime’s strategy, execution, and operations. Prior to launching Treasury Prime, he served as CTO of “API first” company Standard Treasury. When the startup was acquired by Silicon Valley Bank, he took on the role of CTO of API banking for SVB. Earlier in his career, Chris founded or co-founded software companies including Merced Systems (enterprise software), Kyluka (a consulting firm), and Benefitter (ACA-based health plan.) Chris started his career as technical staff in the Machine Learning Systems Group of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He studied physics at California Institute of Technology.

Remy Carole

Remy Carole is Chief Operating Officer at Treasury Prime. He joined the company from design firm fuseproject, where he served as senior program manager on projects for clients including Tile, L’Oreal, and Herman Miller. Prior to fuseproject, Remy held engineering roles at Microsoft, Silicon Valley Bank and Loop. At Microsoft, he worked on the motherboard design for the Xbox. He also co-founded a booking platform for commercial kitchens, where he oversaw all design and software development. Remy has a B.S. in electrical engineering from University of Michigan.

Mike Clarke

Mike Clarke leads Treasury Prime’s product and engineering organization. Mike joined Treasury Prime from application monitoring platform Sentry.io, where he founded the data analytics team that enabled compliance and go-to-market efforts. Earlier in his career, he served as founding engineer at “API first” bank Standard Treasury, where he built the API gateway for developers building on the platform. He also created compliance tools such as a risk service for checking targets against Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions lists. Mike stayed with Standard Treasury through its acquisition by Silicon Valley Bank, where he served as principal software engineer and later engineering manager. Mike has a B.S. in electrical engineering from University of Notre Dame.

Jeff Nowicki

As Chief Banking Officer, Jeff brings over 10 years of experience helping community banks operate and thrive in today’s market while navigating their regulatory relationships and responsibilities. Jeff joined Treasury Prime from BankProv where he was Senior Vice President of Deposit and Product development where he built and grew programs in new markets like Crypto Currency and BaaS partnerships. Prior to joining BankProv, Jeff spent five years at Radius Bank (acquired by LendingClub) in various roles including leading the strategic partnership and micro-to-small business lines. Jeff has a B.S. in business administration from Endicott College and an M.A. in financial services and banking from Suffolk University.

Sheetal Parikh
General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

With nearly 20 years of experience practicing law in the financial services sector, Sheetal serves as Treasury Prime's General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.  Sheetal is actively involved in industry groups, engages with federal and state and local regulators and frequently speaks about regulatory developments at tech conferences including TechCrunch Disrupt.  She uses this insight to  help guide the strategic direction for Treasury Prime's product offerings, often advising business stakeholders on how its products can better serve bank and fintech customers meet ever evolving regulatory and industry trends.  She also spearheads commercial negotiations between the Company and bank clients, provides counsel on regulatory matters involving the intersection of banking and technology and oversees legal review of existing and new product development.  Prior to her role at Treasury Prime, Sheetal led the Legal and Compliance teams at another venture backed start-up.  She was also an attorney in Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management group, where she supported the brokerage business in litigation and regulatory matters.  Sheetal began her career in the Securities and Commodities Litigation group at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP.  She has a B.A. in South Asian language from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from the Case Western Reserve School of Law.

Brandi McVay
Chief People Officer

As vice president of people, Brandi is responsible for Treasury Prime’s people and talent acquisition strategy and operations. She joined Treasury Prime from Azlo, where she strategized and executed the company’s growth from 70 employees to over 150 in one year, established a virtual office in Mexico City, and created people programs to prepare the company for extreme growth. Prior to Azlo, Brandi built the people and talent acquisition strategy at moovel where she led many merger and acquisition projects and international initiatives, and she and her team built a best-in-class employee experience and culture while supporting the company through periods of change management. Brandi has B.A. degrees in Business Management and Human Resources Management from Portland State University.

Danny Cepin

Danny leads Treasury Prime’s fintech sales team and works with fintechs looking to launch accounts, cards, payments, and other banking features on their platform. Danny joined Treasury Prime from fintech leader Brex where he was the first sales hire for Brex Cash, a leading commercial neobank. Prior to Brex, Danny held various business development roles at Morgan Stanley and Triage Consulting Group. Danny started his career in UK banking operations for Citibank. Danny studied Exercise Biology and Economics at the University of California, Davis, where he also played on the NCAA baseball team.

Kiana Pourjanfeshan

Kiana Pourjanfeshan is a dynamic technology leader who serves as Vice President of Client Services at Treasury Prime, a leading banking-as-a-service provider. Since joining the company in 2021 as a Technical Program Manager, Kiana has rapidly advanced within the organization, demonstrating exceptional leadership capabilities and technical expertise.

With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UCLA, Kiana built a strong foundation in technology that propelled her career through positions at several Fortune 500 companies including Hewlett-Packard, The Walt Disney Company, Northrop Grumman Corporation, and Macy's before finding her home at Treasury Prime.

She brings a unique perspective to fintech, combining technical acumen with a people-first approach. Her decision to transition from large corporations to Treasury Prime was driven by her desire for a change of pace and, most importantly, the opportunity to work with exceptional people in a culture that values authenticity and empowerment.

Kiana's leadership philosophy centers on persistence, authenticity, and the value of strong professional networks. At Treasury Prime, she continues to champion a culture that supports diversity in tech and encourages women's advancement in the field.

Carlos Armas
Vice President of Technical Operations

Carlos Armas is vice president of technical operations at Treasury Prime. Prior to joining Treasury Prime, he spent more than a dozen years as a DevOps consultant with Roundtrip Networks, as well as teaching network monitoring and management to engineers across the globe as an instructor with NSRC (University of Oregon). He has also held engineering leadership roles at OpenTable and BabyCenter (of Johnson & Johnson), and has served as consultant to organizations including Consumer Health Interactive, U.S. Arthritis Foundation, and various ISP providers in Cuba. Carlos began his career leading network services for one of Cuba’s biotechnology institutes. He has a B.S. in computer engineering from University of Havana/ISPJAE.
